To celebrate February 29, Leap Day - which occurs once every four years - here's a picture of four beautiful women from Revlon's "Unforgettable Women" campaign of the 1980s.
Pictured are singer Rosie Vela, model Patti Hansen (married to Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones!), actress/model Rene Russo, and, in a return appearance on this blog, model Beverly Johnson.
Yowsa! :-)

The Beauty of Retrospect, Part Three: Louise Vyent
Here are two more pictures of eighties supermodel Louise Vyent. The first one is from 1989, when she was the black supermodel of the moment. The second is from 2001, proving that age hadn't diminshed her.
And it still hasn't. She still models on occasion.
Mostly, though, Louise Vyent is involved with her new career - that of interior design consultant. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, she runs her own consulting business, and she lives and works in New Jersey.

The Real Karen Graham, Part Two :-)
As mentioned earlier on this blog, Karen Graham went from being a supermodel to being a fly-fishing expert, and a well-respected one, too. Truth be told, she's not comfortable with the "glamorous life." Here she is in a recent (if you consider 1999 recent) picture for an Estée Lauder ad for, uh, anti-aging cream.
Here she is in 2006, fly fishng for real.
She's very much in her element. :-)

Veronica Webb
Time for another hot VW! And this VW is from Detroit! ;-)
Veronica Webb was born in the Motor City and went to college in New York before going into modeling. She became much more.
While she had a successful stint as a model, becoming the first black supermodel to win an exclusive contract for a major cosmetics company (Revlon), she also became known as a writer and essayist, serving as an editor-at-large of Interview magazine, writing a weekly column on American culture in the Italian news magazine Panorama, and contributing pieces for Details and Elle, among others. The punningly titled Webb Sight, a collection of essays about her experiences in New York, was published in 1998.
Oh yeah, she can act, too. ;-)
Webb, who turns 43 later this month, can currently be seen as a co-host on Bravo's Tim Gunn's Guide To Style.
