Grave Park is a Canadian actress (born in California, interestingly) who has appeared in various television shows in the United States and Canada.

Ms. Park, who's of Korean descent, first gained recognition for her roles as Sharon Valerii and as a humanoid Cylon robot in a remake of the seventies TV series "Battlestar Galactica."

Appearing in remakes of 1970s TV shows has obviously become her forte, as she now plays plays detective Kona "Kono" Kalakaua in the new version of "Hawaii Five-O."

Pamela Suzette "Pam" Grier born May 26, 1949 is an American actress. She became famous in the early 1970s, after starring in a string of moderately successful women in prison and blaxploitation films such as 1974's Foxy Brown. Her career was revitalized in 1997 after her appearance in Quentin Tarantino's film Jackie Brown. She is one of a few African-American actresses to receive a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress. She has also been nominated for a SAG as well as a Satellite Award for her performance in the iconic film Jackie Brown. She received an Emmy Award nomination for her work in an Animated Program Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child. Rotten Tomatoes has ranked her as the second Greatest Female Action Heroine in film history. Director Quentin Tarantino remarked that she may have been cinema's first female action star.

early life
Grier was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the daughter of Gwendolyn Sylvia (née Samuels), a homemaker and nurse, and Clarence Ransom Grier, who worked as a mechanic and Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force. She has one sister and one brother. At age 6, Grier was raped by two boys when she was left unattended at her aunt's house. "It took so long to deal with the pain of that," she says, "You try to deal with it, but you never really get over it," she adds. "And not just me; my family endured so much guilt and anger that something like that happened to me." Because of her father's military career, her family moved frequently during her childhood, to various places such as England, and eventually settled in Denver, Colorado, where she attended East High School. While in Denver, Colorado she appeared in a number of stage productions, and participated in beauty contests to raise money for college tuition toward Metropolitan State College. Contrary to previous reports she states that she is not the cousin of National Football League great Roosevelt Grier or to National Hockey League player Mike Grier.
Career
Grier moved to Los Angeles, California in 1967, where she was initially hired as a receptionist at the American International Pictures (AIP) company. She was discovered by director Jack Hill, who cast her in his women in prison films The Big Doll House (1971), and The Big Bird Cage (1972). While under contract at AIP, she became a staple of early 1970s blaxploitation movies, playing big, bold, assertive women, beginning with Jack Hill's Coffy (1973), in which she plays a nurse who seeks revenge on drug dealers; her character was advertised in the trailer as the "baddest one-chick hit-squad that ever hit town!" The film, which was filled with sexual and violent elements typical of the genre, was a box- office hit, and Grier was noted as the first African-American female to headline an action film, as protagonists of previous blaxploitation films were males. In his review of Coffy, film critic Roger Ebert noted that Grier was an actress of "beautiful face and astonishing form" and that she possessed a kind of "physical life" missing from other actresses. Grier subsequently played similar characters in the AIP films Foxy Brown (1974), Friday Foster, and Sheba, Baby (both 1975).
With the demise of blaxploitation, Grier appeared in smaller roles for many years. She acquired progressively larger character roles in the 1980s, including a prostitute in Fort Apache the Bronx (1981), a witch in Something Wicked this Way Comes (1983), and Steven Seagal's detective partner in Above the Law (1988). She made guest appearances on Miami Vice, Martin, Night Court and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and also had a recurring role in the TV series Crime Story between 1986 and 1988. She also appeared on Sinbad, Preston Chronicles, The Cosby Show, The Wayans Brother Show, and Mad TV. In 1994, Grier appeared in Snoop Dogg's video for Doggy Dogg World.
In the late 1990s Grier was a cast member of the Showtime series Linc's. She again appeared in 1997 with the title role in Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown, a film that partly paid homage to her '70s blaxploitation movies. As of 2004[update], she appears in the cable television series The L Word as Kit Porter and occasionally guest-stars in such television series as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (where she is a recurring character).
In 2010, Grier began appearing in a recurring role on the hit science fiction series Smallville as the villain Amanda Waller, also known as White Queen, head agent of Checkmate, a covert operations agency.
Also in 2010, she wrote her memoir, "Foxy: My Life in Three Acts" with Andrea Cagan.
Personal life
Grier has never married and has no children. She dated basketball player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar during the early 1970s and had a six-month affair with actor/comedian Richard Pryor around 1976–77. She was also romantically linked to actor/comedian Freddie Prinze in the 1970s. In 1998, she was engaged to music executive Kevin Evans, but the engagement was terminated in 1999. From 2000 to 2008, she dated marketing executive Peter Hempel.

Television presenter Uschi Nerke

Uschi Nerke is a heroine to classic rock fans all over the Western world. She hosted the German popular music show "Beat-Club" from 1965 to 1972, and many clips from the show - among the finest TV appearances in all of rock and roll - have aired on cable music channels and are readily available on YouTube. The show developed a reputation for its innovative and colorful backdrops after it switched from black and white to color. It was one of the most important TV programs for British and American rockers to appear on.

Like "Entertainment Tonight"'s Mary Hart in the United States many years later, Ms. Nerke had a slew of male co-hosts on "Beat-Club," one of whom was John David "Dave Dee" Harman of the British pop group Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich. She was the show's solo host in its last two years.

Among the acts that appeared on "Beat-Club" were the Beatles, Cream, the Who, the Bee Gees, Manfred Mann, Harry Nilsson, Canned Heat, Ike & Tina Turner, Family, Alice Cooper, Richie Havens, Santana, Billy Preston, and too many more to list here.

Ms. Nerke, who turned 67 in January 2011, now hosts a radio version of "Beat-Club" on German radio and appears as a presenter at oldies events.

Fun fact: Uschi Nerke is also a trained architect, having studied architecture in Bremen.

Julianne Moore is easily one of the most accomplished American actresses in recent history.

One of the most regal and refined stars in Hollywood, Ms. Moore has graced many a movie with her presence. While she's well known for roles in the Jurassic Park and Hannibal Lecter series (she replaced Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling in 2001's Hannibal), she has also distinguished herself in cult favorites such as Benny and Joon and in small movies such as the 1994 film version of Anton Chekhov's Vanya on 42nd Street, in which she played Yelena.

Life and career
Collins was born in Harris County, Texas. She attended the Juilliard School for Drama and has had experience on both stage and screen in Shakespearean roles. In 2004, she played the role of Portia in the critically well-received film The Merchant of Venice, based on Shakespeare's play, starring opposite Al Pacino, Joseph Fiennes and Jeremy Irons.
In October 2010, Collins began filming "Firebird" in Nashville, Tennessee, playing Sam. The film is directed by Brent McCorkle. She will play Dejah Thoris in the film John Carter of Mars.
Personal Life
In 2006, Collins began dating Steven Strait. Strait announced the couple's engagement in 2008, and the two were later married.

Lyndsy Marie Fonseca born January 7, 1987 is an American actress known for playing Colleen Carlton on the CBS daytime soap opera The Young and The Restless, Dylan Mayfair on the ABC series Desperate Housewives, and Ted's daughter in How I Met Your Mother. She also played Katie Deauxma in the 2010 superhero film Kick-Ass. She is currently starring as Alex in the CW's action series Nikita.

Early life
Fonseca is half Portuguese Born in Oakland, she was raised first in Alameda and then Moraga. She was discovered there by a manager and agent and immediately moved to Los Angeles for her first pilot season at age 13 in the middle of the school year. The following year she booked her breakthrough role, playing Colleen Carlton on The Young and the Restless with a 3-year contract. With that, her parents moved the whole family to Los Angeles. Since the end of her contract, she has booked many television guest spots, television movies, two pilots and an independent feature film.
Career
In 2001, Fonseca was signed by an agent and a manager and played troubled teen Colleen Carlton in CBS' number one daytime drama The Young and the Restless. She also has recurring roles as Ted Mosby's future daughter on How I Met Your Mother and as Donna on HBO's Big Love.
In fall 2007, she played Dawn in the movie Remember The Daze, a remake of the 1999 graduating class. She joined the cast of ABC's Desperate Housewives as the daughter of Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany), a character moving onto Wisteria Lane. Fonseca also appeared in an episode of Switched.
In 2008 she was nominated for the Actor award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for Desperate Housewives (2004) shared with the cast.
Fonseca played Katie Deauxma in the 2010 superhero film Kick-Ass. She appeared in three more US films in 2010, including Hot Tub Time Machine.
Sh was listed at #62 in the 2010 Maxim Hot 100.
