Carrie Nygren is a Swedish model who first arrived in New York in 1983. She became a constant presence in ads and on covers of women's magazines very quickly.
But she wanted to be an actress long before she became a model. She acted in many of the great intellectual Scandinavian plays as a teenager, and in America she has appeared in a revival of Sweet Charity and the miniseries Rage of Angels.
One of her favorite plays is Scenes From A Marriage.
